I used Houzz to search for contractors to help renovate my parents' master suite, and shortly after, I began receiving calls from various companies. My first interaction was with Rochelle, who was incredibly kind and patient. She took the time to answer all my initial questions, which really stood out to me.
I scheduled consultations with about 4–5 different contractors, treating each meeting not just as a chance to get a quote, but as an opportunity to understand how each company approached their work and supported their clients. It was a tough process, but everything clicked when I met David.
From the start, I emphasized how important transparency and clear communication were to me—and David truly delivered. He didn’t rely on a flashy sales pitch; instead, he spoke sincerely about the company’s dedication to quality work and encouraged me to ask questions at every stage so I could feel more comfortable throughout the process. Rodo Development recently helped me with two back to back bathroom remodels. The end result was amazing - I am so happy. Dolev and his project managers and his team of subcontractors are all expert craftspeople who care about their work. They are friendly, professional and leave the job site clean. Communication about the schedule, process and handling issues that came up were excellent. We had an amazing experience with RODO Development on our condo renovation. As first-time renovators with high standards and a tight timeline, we needed a team that could guide us through the process and RODO totally delivered. I engaged RODO after meeting with about 5 contractors total on a master bathroom and closet renovation project. They gave me a good level of comfort and came in at a reasonable cost. They worked with a professional designer to review the materials I had chosen and come up with a PDF design book. Once the work started, they were in nearly every day and Sean was immediately responsive to questions and comments. He also provided referrals to custom cabinet makers for my closet wardrobes. I am very happy with the result and in fact already referred him to a neighbor on a bathroom project.

From the moment I spoke with Rochelle at Rodo Construction, I had a positive experience. She spent a significant amount of time helping me understand how estimates work and how to navigate insurance claims, which was incredibly helpful since I was dealing with an insurance claim repair. When Sean came out to my home, he took his time reviewing everything thoroughly with me and provided a ballpark estimate. While I ultimately chose a different contractor for this project, I was very impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Rodo Construction in the future. We engaged Dolev and his team at RODO Development based on the recommendation of our architect, as they had completed multiple successful projects together. In looking for a contractor to remodel the kitchen, dining room and laundry room (plus things like new roof, new floor, and paint inside and out) of our midcentury ranch-style home, we had the challenging goal of wanting to use high-end materials, finishes and appliances, have great quality worksmanship, and stay within a relatively modest budget. Ultimately, we feel like we got everything we were looking for by working with Dolev and would be happy to work with his team again.
A couple things in particular I really appreciated about Dolev:
1) He always made himself available and is extremely responsive/attentive. We would call and text frequently to discuss details and we felt comfortable reaching out to him at any time. Relatedly, he's very friendly and easy to work with, so communication was great all around.
2) He conducted himself with a lot of integrity. His pricing and payment terms were very transparent and organized, and when we ran into the ordinary issues that come up in remodels (materials weren't available, or materials were damaged in transit, etc.), we worked together to come up with solutions that were fair and reasonable.
